Your first workflow in five minutes.
A quick walk from sign-up to first run — so you can decide if Pilotran fits before you invest an afternoon.
What is Pilotran?
Pilotran is a home for the small automations that run your day — the “when this happens, do that” jobs you keep meaning to build. Every workflow is a template with three pieces: a trigger that watches for something new, Claude that reads it and decides what to do, and one or more integrations that take the action.
You do not write code. You pick a template, fill in a few fields in plain English, and flip it on. It runs quietly from then on, and you get a weekly digest so you always know what it did.
1. Sign up
Head to /signup and use your work email. You'll land in an empty workspace with your first run of free credits already loaded.
2. Connect your first app
Open Connections in the sidebar and pick the tool your first template needs — most people start with Gmail or Slack. You'll be sent through that provider's normal OAuth screen; we only ask for the scopes the templates actually need, and you can revoke access at any time from your Google or Slack settings.
3. Pick a template
Browse the template gallery and choose one that sounds like something you'd actually use. Good first picks: Email Triage, FAQ Auto-Responder, or Daily Digest. Every template tells you exactly which apps it needs.
4. Activate it
Fill in the plain-English fields — routing rules, a Slack channel, a lookback window — and hit Activate. Pilotran runs the workflow once against a test input so you can see what Claude does before it touches your real inbox.
5. Watch it run
Open the workflow's Runs tab. Every run shows the input, Claude's reasoning, and the action taken. If something looks off, tweak the prompt or the config and re-run — no redeploy needed.
6. Weekly digest
On Monday morning you'll get one email covering every workflow: how many runs, what they did, what got skipped, and anything that failed. That's the whole reporting story — no dashboards to check.
